Where Does Pepper Grow?

Peppers are mostly grown in the the Aegean, Marmara and Mediterranean regions. Pepper cultivation is also carried out in all regions except cold and high plateaus. In the winter season, in Demre, Antalya, are grown most of the peppers exported from Turkey: yellow, green, purple and red peppers, Hungarian green peppers and bell peppers, Charleston and chile peppers, California red and yellow peppers, Capya and Bianca peppers.
